The wait for Yeraltı Season 2 is finally coming to an end. NOW has released the first teaser for the highly anticipated second season of the Turkish drama, giving fans their first glimpse at the new storylines, returning characters and unexpected developments ahead.
The teaser immediately raises questions about Bozo’s past, his former love Derya and the changing relationships between the characters. With several new names joining the cast, the second season looks set to expand the world of the popular crime drama.
The first season concluded with its 16th episode on May 20, 2026, leaving viewers with plenty of unanswered questions. Now, the new teaser has given fans a clearer idea of what lies ahead.
When Will Yeraltı Season 2 Air?
One of the biggest questions among Turkish drama fans is: When does Yeraltı Season 2 start?
The second season is currently expected to premiere on October 7, 2026, with new episodes continuing on Wednesdays. However, NOW’s official promotional material currently describes the series as “coming soon,” so viewers should wait for the network’s final schedule confirmation.
Production reportedly resumed on September 11 following the summer break, bringing the series closer to its return to Turkish television.
If the reported schedule remains unchanged, fans will not have to wait much longer to see the next chapter of the story.
First Yeraltı Season 2 Teaser Reveals a Major Surprise
The first teaser focuses heavily on Uraz Kaygılaroğlu’s Bozkurt Hanoğlu, known as Bozo, and introduces an important figure from his past.
Bozo’s former love Derya, played by new cast member Şükran Ovalı, returns to his life. Her arrival could create significant tension, particularly because Devrim Özkan’s Ceylan appears to witness the encounter.
The teaser therefore sets up a complicated emotional storyline alongside the show’s crime and action elements.
Derya’s return is particularly important because it connects Bozo’s past with the events unfolding in the present. Her arrival could change several relationships within the series as the new season progresses.
Haydar Ali and Sultan Prepare for Their Wedding
Another major storyline shown in the new-season material involves Haydar Ali and Sultan.
Deniz Can Aktaş returns as Haydar Ali Aslan, while Sümeyye Aydoğan continues as Sultan Hanoğlu. The two characters are preparing for their wedding, which appears likely to become an important event in the second season.
However, the arrival of several new characters around the same period could complicate the celebrations and introduce new conflicts.
With the series built around crime, loyalty, love, betrayal and family connections, the wedding could become much more than a romantic milestone.
Who Is Returning for Yeraltı Season 2?
The main cast is returning for the second season, giving fans the opportunity to follow the characters they became familiar with during the first run.
The returning cast includes:
- Deniz Can Aktaş as Haydar Ali Aslan
- Devrim Özkan as Halide Ceylan
- Uraz Kaygılaroğlu as Bozkurt Hanoğlu, or Bozo
- Sümeyye Aydoğan as Sultan Hanoğlu
- Mehmet Yılmaz Ak as Yılmaz Doğan
- Burak Sevinç as Merdan Hanoğlu
- Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi as Melek Aslan
- Ekin Mert Daymaz as Ferhat Hanoğlu
Other returning actors include Emir Benderlioğlu, Koray Şahinbaş, Hülya Gülşen and Hakan Çelebi.
The returning ensemble ensures that the second season can continue several established storylines while introducing new conflicts.
Şükran Ovalı Joins as Derya
One of the most talked-about additions to Yeraltı Season 2 is Şükran Ovalı.
The actress takes on the role of Derya, Bozo’s former love. Her arrival is particularly significant because the teaser places her directly opposite Bozo.
Derya is not returning alone. Her storyline brings additional characters into the series, creating new connections that could have an impact on Bozo and the existing cast.
Her character is therefore expected to play an important role in the upcoming season.
İsmail Hacıoğlu Joins the Yeraltı Cast
Another major addition is acclaimed Turkish actor İsmail Hacıoğlu, who joins the series as Rüzgâr.
According to the reported character details, Rüzgâr is connected to Derya and is expected to become an important figure in Bozo’s storyline.
His arrival adds another layer to the growing network of relationships surrounding Bozo and Derya.
The second season also introduces Azra Aksu as Derya’s daughter, while Ekrem Tamer plays the father of Rüzgâr’s character.
More New Characters Enter the Story
The new season is expanding the Yeraltı universe with several additional cast members.
Hakan Dinçkol and Bora Sivri have joined the second season, with Bora Sivri reportedly portraying Rüzgâr’s right-hand man.
Jak Cem Avnayim will play Bora, identified as Derya’s husband, adding another complicated relationship to the storyline surrounding Bozo’s former love.
Burak Bingöl has also joined the cast and is reportedly set to portray a council member.
With so many new characters entering the story, the second season appears ready to introduce fresh alliances, rivalries and personal conflicts.
What Can Fans Expect From Yeraltı Season 2?
The first teaser suggests that the second season will maintain the show’s combination of crime, action, romance, family drama and betrayal.
Bozo’s past will become increasingly important following Derya’s return, while Haydar Ali and Sultan face a new stage in their relationship.
The introduction of Rüzgâr and other new characters could also change the balance between the established figures.
Rather than simply continuing the first season’s story, the new episodes appear designed to open several new narrative paths.
Yeraltı Returns After a Dramatic First Season
Yeraltı quickly attracted attention with its dark atmosphere, emotional relationships and crime-focused storyline.
The first season followed characters caught between love, loyalty, revenge and dangerous criminal networks. Haydar Ali’s journey formed one of the central parts of the story, while Bozo and Ceylan added further complexity to the drama.
The season finale on May 20 left audiences waiting for answers, and the summer break only increased anticipation for the show’s return.
Now, the release of the first Season 2 teaser has reignited interest in the Turkish series.

Yeraltı Season 2 will air on NOW in Turkey, with the reported premiere date set for October 7, 2026.
Because NOW’s current promotional pages continue to use the “coming soon” wording, fans should look out for the network’s official schedule announcement before treating the October 7 date as fully confirmed.
